This image is the result of great patience and craftsmanship. It features an arrangement of delicate petals, a rusty metal plate, and patterned chopsticks—a moment of symmetry and contemplation, captured on Ilford HP5 film. The shot was taken with my Sinar large-format camera, which allowed me to capture the fine textures of the hand-woven linen and the translucency of the leaves with incredible precision. The classic black-and-white aesthetic of the HP5 underscores the graphic quality of the composition. No AI, no filters—just the honest texture of silver halides on film stock. Symmetry in decay. Tranquility in the details.
